Our History
The Art Revived story began by pure accident. I moved into a new home and had nothing to hang on my walls, I had been in possession of several antique classic postcards from the early 1900's I carried these around for over 35 years. Until one day I enlarged them into poster size and to my astonishment they came to life, bright colors, detail that couldn't be seen from their original postcard size. I soon began to specialize in French postcards since the French embraced the golden age of postcards like no other nation, they were out of control.
Therefore I began to search the globe for rare antique French postcards, also exploring postcards from world expositions and passenger liners of the world. These postcards are well over 100 years old, true antiques.
Our Mission And Vision
My obsession became seeking and selecting lost forgotten postcards and resurrecting them by transforming them into modern wall art for people to appreciate. By scanning the images at 1200 DPI (dots per inch) allows you to enlarge them into canvas exposing incredible unseen detail to charm your home or place of business.
